In preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, Year 7 attended the Drumalis Centre, Larne for a school retreat. The retreat was facilitated by teachers Miss Carlin and Mrs McKinley. The day of spiritual reflection included workshops on prayer, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The children were also joined by school chaplain Fr Damian and local curate Fr Conor for the Sacrament of Penance and the celebration of Holy Mass. The school wish to thank Sr Anne and the Cross and Passion Sisters for allowing the children the opportunity to visit the Retreat Centre and to celebrate Mass in the convent chapel.
