Year 7 have been reading the novel Under the Hawthorn Tree as part of their topic learning about life in Ireland during the time of the famine. They wrote diary entries based on key events in the novel and they produced super artwork inspired by the Irish artist JP Rooney and his ‘Irish Cottages’ collection.
