Year 6 pupils have been immersing themselves in the wonderful world of The Butterfly Lion by Michael Morpurgo.
One of the highlights was writing newspaper reports about Bertie’s emotional return to Dover with his beloved Butterfly Lion. Using the ‘Comic Life’ app, pupils recreated newspapers set in the past, complete with headlines, photos, and captivating articles to report the event.
To complement their work, pupils created freehand drawings of the lion. They used blow paint to create bold and dramatic effects that showed the emotions of the story’s events.
