Year 5 have been reading ‘The Firework Maker’s Daughter’ novel by Philip Pullman. They have also been focusing on how to write an explanation text all about ‘How Fireworks Work’. They researched the different types of fireworks, what celebrations they are used for and then designed they very own firework. They all showed a natural ‘flare’ for this activity, producing some dazzling fireworks.
