Year 4 children enjoyed a very informative visit today from ‘Eva Jones’, the WW2 billeting officer for the local area.
Eva discussed the evacuation process and prepared children for what would happen in the event of an evacuation during World War Two times.
Year 4 really enjoyed the workshop and were able to see many artefacts from the era. They also had the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
