This term, the children have been busy learning all about wild animals as part of their World Around Us topic of ‘On Safari’. They created their own animals from collage materials and paint and they also created different habitats for their animals to live in! As part of our Numeracy, the children explored different forms of measurement. They were given the problem of having to create a parking space that their vehicle would fit into- not an easy task! During Science Week, the children were lucky to have a visit from Doctor Savage who talked about how we grow taller over time. We also conducted our very own experiment where we tried to change the colour of a white flower! We discovered that the only red food colouring changed the colour of the petals! 🌺🌻🌼🪻
