Year 6 have been learning all about the Vikings. We have explored where they came from, how they travelled on longships, how they raided different places in Ireland and even jewellery they wore. The children have been busy creating newspaper reports about raids, making Viking shields as well as creating some of their own Viking jewellery using clay.
