The Future NI Assembly!
22nd May 2023
Our school councillors embarked upon a trip to Stormont to visit the Northern Ireland Parliament Buildings. They explored the work of the Northern Ireland Assembly and recognised the devolved powers we have. The pupils toured the Stormont building and spent time in the Chamber where they re-enacted a debate in session. This focussed on the law of School Uniform in Northern Ireland. The highlight of the trip was being accompanied by their fellow councillors from Carniny Primary School. We all had lots of fun!
