To conclude our topic of money we took part in lots of practical activities to showcase our learning.
In our farm shop we gave items a price and calculated change. We played a matching game where we had to match coins to their totals. We used purses to show different ways to make a pound. We were ‘pocket money millionaires’ playing a board game trying to hold on to our savings and earn more money. We created our very own plan of a shop adding objects to sell with corresponding prices. We also used iPads to play money themed games.
We had great fun and learnt lots through these activities!
