Year One have been learning all about ‘People Who Help Us’. The children have really enjoyed pretending to work in a hospital at the role-play area and have been mending broken legs and arms, as well as taking care of the newborn babies! They have also been learning about the importance of dialing 999 in an emergency and painting pictures of emergency vehicles including fire engines, police cars and ambulances. We had a visit from two Police officers and found out how they can help us. There was great excitement when got to sit in the police car and press the siren🚨
