During the past two years we have been working with the Nerve Creative Learning Centre as part of their ‘Primary Partnership Programme’ to help us develop ICT within our school. This was a phased approach over the two years to help us develop the area of Coding and Computational Thinking.
Teachers were provided with a number of staff training sessions focusing on the area of Coding and Computation Thinking. This has had a huge impact in our school, as teachers have developed their understanding of coding and how to introduce and develop it in the classroom. As a result, children in all years have developed their interest and understanding in this area which is of great benefit to them in this ever-evolving technological age we are living in.
