Meet our peers from Carniny Primary School!
Today our Year 6 and 7 pupils visited our Shared Education partner school Carniny. As part of Children’s Mental Health week, we participated in a variety of well-being activities all related to the theme ‘Connection.’ We explored different ways we are connected as a year group and how we can connect with others. We discussed our likes/dislikes through human bingo and took part in a sixty pupil rock-paper-scissors game.
We made a great effort to CONNECT with our friends from Carniny, which links to our 5 Steps to Well-Being initiative. We had the added bonus of eating ice lollies on our walk back to school, which made it even more enjoyable. A massive thank you to Katy from REACH for making this workshop possible.
As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, our Year 6 and 7 pupils worked in collaboration with pupils from our partner school, Carniny Primary School.
