The children in Year 3 were delighted to welcome Paul Mayo, a marine biologist, to our school today!
As part of their World Around Us topic, Year 3 have been learning about life under the sea and have been researching a wide variety of facts about sea creatures, underwater plant life and ways in which we can help to save the sea from pollution.
Paul showed the children different artefacts including shark teeth and eggs, whale bones and baleen. Some lucky children even got to dress up in his scuba diving gear!
