We have been very busy in Year 3 learning all about minibeasts. We had great fun exploring our local environment in search of them. Did you know we have our very own bug hotel in school? We celebrated World Bee Day (20th May) by making posters highlighting the importance of bees 🐝 and the role they play in our world. During Activity Based Learning we have been sorting minibeasts, designing our own, exploring symmetry, using the work of the artist Kandinsky as inspiration for our own artwork with concentric circles and finally fine tuning our coding skills using BeeBot and Scratch Junior.
