This has been a busy month in Year 2 ✏️
in Numeracy we investigated different types of patterns; we used cubes, counters and Lego to create our own. We also used 2d shapes to make shape pictures… and even used our bodies to create simple shapes!
In World Around Us we have been learning about our bodies. We carried out a Science experiment to investigate which drinks are good for our teeth. Have a look at the results… you might be surprised! A visit from nurse Ciara also helped us understand how to care for a baby.
We’d great fun preparing for Halloween! Cookies, costumes and pumpkins all featured in our learning! And didn’t we look spook-tacular in our Halloween costumes! 🧛♂️👻🧙🏻♀️
