On the 26th September we celebrated International Languages Day with a school assembly led by the newcomer pupils from Years 4-7. The children presented interesting facts about their home country and taught everyone a number of words and/or phrase in their first language. Some of the pupils brought their favourite foods from their country for us all to sample.
We have children from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, China, India, Lithuania, Phillipines, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
The school kitchen too provided an international menu dinner. It was very popular with the pupils.
