Miss McKinley’s Year 6 class had an amazing day at the Northern Regional College's Farm Lodge campus in Ballymena. The college was hosting an International Pressure Test in Industrial Robotics, and our pupils watched the WorldSkills Team UK compete against teams from Austria and China.
The highlight of the trip was touring the Engineering department, where they saw real robots in action. They even got to programme a robot to collect bricks, just like a giant grabber machine.
A big thank you to all the students and staff at NRC for making it such a great trip. The day ended perfectly with ice lollies for everyone on the walk home.
