As part of our topic ‘Food Glorious Food’ we were lucky enough to have Ben from ‘Ben’s Ice-Cream’ come to visit us.
Ben runs a business serving homemade and locally sourced treats, creating delicious ice-cream with shops in Portglenone, Magherafelt and Toome.
The children learnt all about the different flavours, ingredients, processes and what it takes to run three shops.
We even had a chance at the end to quiz Ben with lots of interesting questions!
