Today we had a visit from Paul the marine biologist. He showed us footage of marine life around our coast and brought samples of shark eggs, teeth, a vertebrae of a whale and scuba diving equipment. We have learnt that there are plenty of Basking Sharks around our coasts and that sharks have different shaped teeth depending on what they eat. We can look out for shark eggs on the beach because we now know what they look like. We had great fun looking at all the items up close and getting a chance to feel them.
