Year 7 have been busy in February. We welcomed a number of visitors to our school. At the start of the month we took part in a Maths challenge which was organised by students in Ballymena Academy. Children had great fun working in groups to compete against each other in a range of different exciting challenges.
As part of Safer Internet Day 2022, we welcomed Deborah from Thrive Academy to talk to us about how we can keep safe online by making good choices. We also explored the themes of how not everything is as it seems on the internet and about the importance of thinking about what we share online. Deborah remarked on how good the children’s awareness was and was impressed by the advice they gave to each other about staying safe online.
