On Thursday morning, our Faith Council led a thoughtful and engaging assembly all about Holy Week, the most important week in the Christian calendar. They took us on a journey through the key events of the week, starting with Palm Sunday, when Jesus was welcomed into Jerusalem with cheers and palm branches. We learned about Holy Thursday, the Last Supper Jesus shared with his disciples, and Good Friday, a solemn day remembering Jesus’ crucifixion. The assembly ended with the joyful message of Easter Sunday, celebrating Jesus’ resurrection and the hope and new life it brings.
The Faith Council did a fantastic job helping everyone understand the meaning behind each day of Holy Week.
