This Term Primary 5 have been learning about children around the world and researching Children’s Rights. One right that they were focusing on was every child’s right to food. We discussed different charities that help others to access these rights. One of the local charities that they learnt about was Saint Vincent de Paul. The children kindly donated food and toiletry items to make 6 hampers. Mr Kieran Killough from Ballymena SVP came in to tell the children about the charity and collect these hampers. He thanked the children for all their generosity.
