Year 6 pupils were thrilled to have Mark Garside, a player from the Belfast Giants, visit them today. He shared valuable insights on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and the significance of regular exercise. As an ice hockey player, he emphasised the importance of staying healthy and provided practical tips such as maintaining a balanced diet. Some even had the opportunity to have their merchandise autographed. What an experience having a celebrity in our school! His visit perfectly complemented our WAU topic on ‘Healthy Habits.’
