We have been very busy in Year 1 learning all about the changes in the world around us during the season of autumn.
We went on an autumn walk around our school and we spied lots of signs of autumn. We were delighted when we got to the bottom of the avenue where there were hundreds of fallen leaves. We had great fun throwing them up in the air!
In Play-Based Learning we created hedgehog prints and colourful autumn trees using a variety of collage materials.
We also built super structures at the block area such as shelters for hedgehogs, and we collected leaves and twigs during outdoor play to create our very own self portraits!
