The boys and girls in Year 3 have been learning all about ‘Space’ this half term.
They have been researching information about Neil Armstrong’s adventure to the moon, our solar system and the differences between comets and asteroids.
The children also created fabulous pastel drawings of the planets in our solar system and took part in an outdoor coding activity, where they followed a set of instructions in order to land at a specific planet.
When learning about meteorites, the children carried out an investigation on how bigger and heavier materials will cause more damage than lighter and smaller ones.
It seems we have lots of budding astronauts in Year 3! 👩🚀
