The Pupil Council decided to support Radio Cracker this Christmas. As a result of the Y1-4 Christmas Concert and the Key Stage 2 Carol Service, a sum of £890 was presented to Maureen Allen at a school assembly on 13th January 2017. The money will support the following projects:
(i) Bread for Kenya – Supply of rainwater tanks for the Tharaka people in Kenya.
(ii) E3 Initiative – Start a chicken-rearing farms in Kwa-Zulu-Natal, S. Africa.
(iii) Kids4School – Replace a temporary corrugated classroom with a permanent build for 35 children in Kenya.
(iv) Second Sight – Working in the worst area in the world for cataract blindness; Bihar State in India.
