St Colmcille’s pupils wore their wellies for a fun-filled Welly Wednesday as they raised funds for Agewell’s intergenerational initiative—bringing older and younger generations together for connection, support, and shared joy! The boys and girls wore their brightest wellies and took part in some outdoor fun. Pupils and staff took the opportunity to tidy up their class gardens and some outdoor activities including some exercise in the trim trail.
Year 1s had some help with their gardening when MayorAlderman William McCaughey helped out and got his hands dirty. In Gartan Co Donegal the Year 7s took part in their own Welly Wednesday sporting their wellies during the ‘Nightline’.
