Year 3 have been learning all about castles. Did you know Ballymena used to have a castle? Unfortunately it is no longer standing, but on a beautiful Wednesday morning we set off an a walk to look for clues of where it once stood. We found many clues along the way including a large billboard, street name and the old entrance to castle. We ended up beside a very familiar building where some of us go swimming!
