Today, the Year 6 pupils of Miss McKinley's class enjoyed a visit to Ballymena Academy as part of a collaborative Shared Education Project. The highlight of their trip was visiting the Home Economics Department, where they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the art of cupcake decoration and embrace the festive spirit.
Under the guidance of Mrs. Gillian Douglas, the pupils not only had a great time but also discovered the joy of becoming bakers for the day. The hands-on experience allowed them to unleash their creativity as they participated in a festive-themed bake-off. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the activity, and it left them with lasting memories of a day filled with fun and learning.
